Sri Aurobindo birth centenary year inspired the beginning of a school. The Mother gave her blessings and gave the name to the school. Sri Aurobindo Centenary School was inaugurated on 12 Nov 1972 with 40 children and a humble campus. Today the school is spread over 8 acers with 25 class rooms and 3 play grounds. The school offers education from nursery to 10th class with emphasis on overall development of children.
The school has hostel facility for boys and girls separately. With 100 beds, modern amenities, quality food and personal care it provides homely atmosphere to children. Morning yoga, evening meditation and night study hours help the children focus on education and personality development. Multi purpose dining hall with multimedia equipment provides refreshment and recreation to children on weekends.
